I have long been looking for a way to effectively rebuild tooth enamel. It has made no sense to me that all other parts of our bodies could rebuild, but tooth enamel could not. This may not be a complete list but it contains most herbs that should be avoided.

Contraindicated during pregnancy due to the stress they place on the kidneys.

• Juniper berries
• Horsetail/Shave Grass
• Buchu

Should be avoided until the last 4 to 6 weeks of pregnancy.

• Squaw Vine (Mitchella repens)
• Blue Cohosh (Caulophyflum thalicotroides)
• Black Cohosh (Cimicifuga racemosa)

Too strong for pregnancy

• Pennyroyal
• False Unicorn Root (Helonias dioica)
• Dong Quai (Angelica spp)

Because it can lower prolactin levels, is best discontinued during the last trimester of pregnancy
